In addition to the above, applicants must write two essays of 500 words each on two of the topics below. Please send the essay separately in an email to email@example.com along with a photo for your application.
1) What Israel means to me.
2) Why I want to be an advocate for Israel on campus.
3) Students for Justice in Palestine have started a campaign on campus to boycott Israeli food products. Make the case for why boycotts are damaging and not effective for promoting peace.
4) Describe a situation in which you were confronted by an anti-Israel demonstrator or someone critical of Israel and how you responded.
5) Is the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement anti-Semitic? When does valid criticism of Israel or Israeli government policies cross the line and become an expression of anti-Semitism?
